Jeff Herring, Chief Human Resources Officer at University of Utah, to Serve as Treasurer on CUPA-HR Board of Directors
Jeff  Herring, chief human resources officer at the University of Utah, has been selected to serve as treasurer on the board of directors of the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR) for the 2018-19 fiscal year. He will serve a three-year term beginning on July 1.

Herring, a long-time CUPA-HR member, currently serves as an at-large member on the association’s board of directors and in leadership roles on the Budget and Finance Committee, Research Advisory Committee and Public Policy Committee. He participated in CUPA-HR’s Emerging Leaders Program in 2013 and has attended numerous CUPA-HR learning events, including the Association Leadership Program.

“Jeff has been an outstanding at-large board member,” says CUPA-HR President and Chief Executive Officer Andy Brantley. “I am so pleased that he will serve as the association’s treasurer for the next three years.”

Herring’s career in human resources spans 14 years. He has served the University of Utah for five years and previously held leadership positions with Utah’s Department of Human Resource Management.
