Washington Insider Alerts — Our government relations team in D.C. closely monitors federal regulatory and legislative developments and how they will impact higher ed employers. CUPA-HR members receive email alerts that relay breaking news in a higher ed context.
Articles — Most of CUPA-HR’s vast library of articles exploring emerging issues, innovative HR models, and successful higher ed HR practices is members-only content.
Toolkits — CUPA-HR toolkits on key HR topics are a great starting point for developing programs and policies. They include higher ed resources and examples shared by members, as well as links to CUPA-HR’s resources on the topic.

Members-Only Learning
Webinars — Throughout the year, CUPA-HR hosts members-only webinars on regulatory compliance, HR management, leadership development, workforce trends, emerging technology, well-being, and so much more. These webinars are free.
E-Learning Courses — CUPA-HR offers two popular self-paced courses. Parts of the Understanding Higher Education course and all of CUPA-HR Boot Camp are available only to members. These courses are free.
Peer Programs — CUPA-HR has tapped into its incredible community of higher ed HR leaders to create three year-long members-only peer programs: CUPA-HR Navigators for CHROs (coming in 2026-27) and Ignite for early-career professionals. For participants, these programs are essentially free.

Online Community — Our online community is where members ask and answer questions and share resources with one another 24/7. All of our key discussion groups are open only to CUPA-HR members.
Special Pricing for Events — Members receive registration discounts for conferences, DataOnDemand Learning Labs, and other paid events.
DataOnDemand — Member institutions that participate in CUPA-HR’s annual surveys receive the deepest discounts on DataOnDemand subscriptions that give them access to the data we collect.
Conference Presentation Proposals — Only CUPA-HR members can submit presentation proposals for the CUPA-HR Annual Conference and the CUPA-HR Spring Conference. Those selected not only have the opportunity to share their knowledge and experience with conference attendees, but also receive a deep discount on registration.
Higher Education HR Awards — Only CUPA-HR institutional members are eligible to be nominated for these awards recognizing the exceptional work being done in higher ed HR. Some even include monetary awards for the institutions that receive them.
Leadership Opportunities — Serving on committees, councils and boards is an excellent way to expand your leadership skills, advance the higher ed HR profession, and build relationships with other higher ed HR leaders from across the country. Only CUPA-HR institutional members can serve in these leadership roles.
