Anyone at your institution can purchase a DOD subscription. However, only your institution’s chief HR officer, CUPA-HR membership contact or a designated DOD sub-administrator can authorize DOD access.

  1. Purchase DOD.
  2. Your institution’s chief HR officer, CUPA-HR membership contact and any designated DOD sub-administrators will receive an automatic email notification that a new DOD purchase has been made, with instructions for granting access.

Important:

  • Access to DOD must be assigned with each new subscription purchase. For security purposes, our system resets with each new DOD subscription year.
  • DOD subscriptions will not be accessible until orders are paid in full.
  • DataOnDemand orders remaining unpaid after 90 days will be automatically cancelled.

DOD is a subscription service that expires each year. View the DOD schedule for expiration dates.

Once you use a comparison group, any other comparison groups that you create or edit MUST differ from it by at least three institutions. This restriction applies even if the previously used group has been deleted. This protects the confidentiality of institution data. For more information, see the tutorials for creating and managing comparison groups.
