Clarity White, Human Resources Supervisor at UC Berkeley, to Serve on the CUPA-HR Board of Directors
Clarity White, human resources supervisor for Berkeley Educators and Administrators Regional Services at the University of California, Berkeley, has been selected to serve a three-year term on the board of directors of the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR). She will join the board as the Western Region representative on July 1.
White has been a member of CUPA-HR for almost 10 years. In 2016, she was selected to join the 2016-17 cohort of the CUPA-HR Wildfire program for early-career professionals, which opened the door to new opportunities both professionally and within the association. In 2017, she joined the CUPA-HR Western Region board of directors, where she served as secretary, chair and a member-at-large before becoming the region’s representative to the national board. White’s leadership at the national level has included serving on CUPA-HR’s Public Policy Committee and as a mentor to a member of the 2022-23 Wildfire cohort. This will be her first year serving on the national board of directors.
