Now Accepting Nominations for Midwest Region Board Positions

The deadline for nominations is February 28 and terms begin July 1, 2018.

Nominate yourself or a colleague for the following open positions:

At-Large Board Members (2-Year Commitment)

Provides support to the various region and national office initiatives related to membership, chapter outreach and other strategic priorities. Works in conjunction with other board members to assist and support board operations in the areas of communications, corporate partnerships, and other responsibilities based on the strengths and skills of the board members and the needs of the Region. This position also serves on various board sub-committees and may lead and/or assist with projects and special assignments.

To qualify for Midwest Region board positions, individuals must:

  • Be a CUPA-HR national member
  • Have the support of his/her institution to attend all Midwest Region board meetings and related activities during term of office
  • Have a commitment to contribute the time, interest, ability and resources necessary to complete assignments promptly and professionally

These individuals will typically also:

  • At least five years’ experience as a human resource professional, ideally in higher education
  • A record of active participation in and knowledge of CUPA-HR
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities
