Laurita Thomas, Former Associate Vice President for Human Resources at University of Michigan, Receives CUPA-HR Honorary Life Membership

Laurita Thomas, former associate vice president for human resources at University of Michigan, has received honorary life membership in the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR). Honorary life membership is the highest honor for recognizing retiring CUPA-HR members who have demonstrated a lifetime commitment to the higher education HR profession and long-term leadership in the association.

Thomas has been a member of CUPA-HR for nearly 20 years. She has served on the CUPA-HR national board of directors, as well as on the public policy and learning and professional development committees. Recently, Thomas co-chaired the ad hoc group dedicated to restructuring the CUPA-HR Learning Framework and served as a guide for the Emerging CUPA-HR Leaders program.
