Eugene Whitlock, Chief People and Culture Officer/Associate Vice Chancellor for HR at the University of California-Berkeley, to Serve on CUPA-HR Board of Directors

Eugene Whitlock, chief people and culture officer/associate vice chancellor for HR at the University of California-Berkeley, has been selected to serve a three-year term on the board of directors of the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR). He will join the board on July 1.

“We are so pleased to welcome Eugene to the national board,” says CUPA-HR President and Chief Executive Officer Andy Brantley. “He joins an outstanding group of higher education leaders from across the country as an at-large member of the CUPA-HR board of directors.”

Whitlock has been a member of CUPA-HR for four years and has served on the national board of directors and Learning and Professional Development Committee. He shares, “I’m very honored and excited to join the Board of Directors at this momentous time as we chart a new course through the shifting post-pandemic work landscape. It’s a unique opportunity to bring my skillset to the table in further expanding CUPA’s leadership in this field.”
