CUPA-HR’s Annual Conference and Expo Moving to Virtual Format

Due to the continued threat posed by COVID-19, as well as travel restrictions implemented and anticipated at many higher ed institutions, CUPA-HR’s 2020 Annual Conference and Expo is shifting to an entirely virtual format. The new Virtual Annual Conference and Expo will take place October 5-7.

The three-day virtual conference will feature keynote speakers Shaun Harper, founder and executive director of the USC Race and Equity Center, and Wes Moore, CEO of Robin Hood, one of the largest anti-poverty forces in the nation. We will also feature a panel that includes a president, provost, and two chief HR officers, who will address the challenges, successes and opportunities presented by the return to campus. Concurrent sessions will be presented live, with 24 options from which to choose, plus many pre-recorded sessions.

“We regret that we will not be able to gather face-to-face for our annual conference, but we are very pleased that we are able to bring this timely, impactful content to our higher ed HR community wherever they are,” said Andy Brantley, CUPA-HR president and CEO. “We also hope that this switch to a virtual format creates the opportunity for many to participate who would not have been able to travel to join us in person.”
