Vicki Stewart, Director of Human Resources at York College of Pennsylvania, Receives CUPA-HR’s National Distinguished Service Award

Vicki Stewart, director of human resources at York College of Pennsylvania has been selected to receive the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR) 2023 Distinguished Service Award for outstanding leadership of CUPA-HR and higher education HR. CUPA-HR is pleased to make a $4,000 contribution to an institution of Vicki’s choice.

Stewart has served in many CUPA-HR leadership positions, including co-chair of the Eastern Pennsylvania/Delaware Chapter; chair and at-large member of the Eastern Region board; and Eastern Region representative on the national board. She also served as chair (2020-21), vice-chair (2019-20) and member of the Learning and Professional Development Committee in addition to serving as a member on the Public Policy Committee and Engagement/Alignment Task Force. Stewart has also served as a CUPA-HR Annual Conference Ambassador, where she welcomed and engaged with first-time conference attendees, and she most recently participated as a guide for the Emerging CUPA-HR Leaders program.
