CUPA-HR Annual Conference Cancellation FAQ

Due to the continued threat posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, we have determined that it is in the best interest of our members and their institutions to transition the 2020 CUPA-HR Annual Conference and Expo to a virtual setting and cancel the in-person event in Orlando. Our virtual annual conference will take place October 5-7. Learn more.

If you were registered to attend the in-person conference in Orlando, please note that all refunds have been processed.

We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience and understanding. Below, you will find answers to questions you may have regarding refunds for registration.

REGISTRATION

What should I do about my registration if I was planning to attend the annual conference?

As an annual conference registrant, your registration has been automatically cancelled and all refunds have been processed.

AIRFARE AND LODGING

What should I do about my airfare and lodging?

All attendees and exhibitors that reserved their hotel room at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort through the CUPA-HR room block should receive a cancellation confirmation within the next 24-48 hours. Individuals that booked through a third-party provider, such as Expedia, Travelocity or other such providers, will need to cancel their own reservations, as the resort does not have a method to identify them as part of the group. Additionally, the hotel will still be closed to the public over the original event dates.

If you need to contact Disney's Coronado Springs Resort to cancel a reservation, you can do so by calling 407-939-4686.

For air travel, contact your airline directly regarding ticket cancellations. If you purchased travel insurance, please contact your provider for information and next steps. While CUPA-HR cannot reimburse cancellation fees, many airlines are waiving them during this time.
