CUPA-HR Ignite Program.

Learning | Connecting | Mentoring

For more than 10 years, this 12-month immersive experience, previously known as the Wildfire program, has been built upon learning and engagement opportunities that connect a small, select group of early-career higher ed HR professionals with CUPA-HR, as well as key leaders in the association and the higher education human resources profession.

The application period for the 2026-27 Ignite program year has closed. Applicants will be notified of selection by May 11, 2026. We anticipate applications for the 2027-26 program year to open in January 2027.

The Ignite program is a career and leadership development program that offers early-career higher ed HR professionals the chance to engage with one another and higher ed HR leaders from across the country as they explore the profession and their own career paths.
