Understanding Higher Education — The Understanding Higher Education series is designed to help all employees be more effective in their roles by developing a deeper understanding of institutional structure and culture. For HR professionals and other leaders new to higher ed, the series also offers a closer look at topics such as tenure, academic reporting structures, compensation practices, Title IX and leadership skills.

CUPA-HR Boot Camp — The CUPA-HR Boot Camp course offers a higher ed perspective on essential HR topics, including leadership and strategy, recruiting and retention, compensation, benefits, employee and union relations, operations, compliance, and training and organizational development. CUPA-HR Ignite — For more than 10 years, this 12-month immersive experience for early-career higher ed HR professionals has featured learning and engagement opportunities designed to connect participants with CUPA-HR, key leaders in the association, and leaders in the higher ed HR profession. Emerging CUPA-HR Leaders — This 12-month immersive experience seeks to identify potential CUPA-HR leaders among higher ed HR professionals who have shown exemplary leadership at their institutions and want to take an active role in advancing the profession. Participants have the opportunity to engage in problem-solving work groups and develop deep networks with peers while gaining an inside look at CUPA-HR’s operations and structure. Learn more.
CUPA-HR Navigators — Designed specifically for chief HR officers, this new program is designed to provide personalized, meaningful support by leveraging what makes our association unique: the power of connection and collaboration among higher ed HR leaders. Elements of the program include access to a dedicated CUPA-HR Navigator, who will serve as your main point of contact, helping you access insights, resources and support from across the higher ed HR community; a focus on your work and priorities as a higher ed CHRO; and opportunities to collaborate with a small cohort of fellow CHROs to discuss challenges, share ideas and access collective knowledge.
