Kirk Beyer, Former Director of Human Resources at Gustavus Adolphus College, Receives Honorary Life Membership in CUPA-HR
Kirk Beyer, who recently retired from his position as director of human resources at Gustavus Adolphus College, has been granted Honorary Life Membership in the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR). Honorary Life Membership is the highest honor for recognizing retired CUPA-HR members who have demonstrated a lifetime commitment to the higher education human resources profession and long-term leadership in the association.

Beyer has been a member of CUPA-HR for more than 30 years and has served at the national, regional and chapter levels. Among his many CUPA-HR roles, he founded and served as the first president of the association’s Minnesota Chapter; served on various task forces; served within a variety of roles within the Midwest Region, including chair 2001-02; and served in a variety of leadership roles on the national board of directors, including chair 2008-09.
