Kelli Shuman, Vice President of Human Resources at South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, to Serve as Chair of the CUPA-HR Midwest Region Board of Directors for 2015-16

Kelli Shuman, vice president of human resources and Title IX coordinator at South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, will serve for the upcoming fiscal year as the chair of the Midwest Region board of directors of the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR). She began her term as chair-elect last summer and moved into the role of chair on July 1.

Shuman is the longest-standing member of CUPA-HR’s Midwest Region board. Prior to serving as chair-elect, she served for several years as treasurer. In 2009, she received the Midwest Region’s Emerging Leader Award, and this year she received the region’s Outstanding Service Award. She has also presented at several CUPA-HR conferences.
