Jami Painter, Associate Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at the University of Illinois System, to Serve on CUPA-HR Board of Directors

Jami Painter, associate vice president and chief human resources officer for the University of Illinois System, has been selected to serve a three-year term on the board of directors of the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR). She will join the board on July 1.

Painter has been a member of CUPA-HR for 18 years and served on the board of the Illinois Chapter from 2016 to 2018. She has presented at the Illinois CUPA-HR annual conference and is active in leadership positions at other human resources and higher education associations.

Painter joined the HR team at the University of Illinois System in 2001. Prior to her role at the University of Illinois, Painter was an HR employment coordinator at Christie Clinic Association. She holds a master’s degree in human resources education and is a senior certified HR professional.
