CUPA-HR Pledges Support to Health and Well-Being in Higher Education

The College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR) recently endorsed Health and Well-Being in Higher Education: A Commitment to Student Success. Now in its fourth edition, the commitment has served as an effective catalyst to inter-association collaborations to advance integrated models of health and well-being.

The well-being statement highlights strategic commitments from these associations in pursuit of innovating, supporting and fostering a holistic, integrated and strategic approach to well-being from the association level to the institutional level. CUPA-HR is one of 15 leading higher education associations that have pledged support to the statement.

“It is well understood that we can’t advance student well-being if we aren’t also advancing employee well-being, and HR is critical to that effort,” says CUPA-HR President and CEO Andy Brantley. “As the commitment to well-being in higher education grows, we look forward to bringing the higher ed HR perspective to the conversation and sharing resources with a more inclusive audience.”
