Chris Byrd, Vice President for Human Resources at University of South Carolina, to Serve on CUPA-HR Board of Directors

Chris Byrd, vice president for human resources at University of South Carolina, has been tapped to serve a three-year term on the board of directors of the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR). He will join the board on July 1.

Byrd has been a member of CUPA-HR for three years. He currently serves on the association’s learning and professional development committee and CUPA-HR/NACUBO joint task force. He has worked in HR for nearly 31 years — 20 in state government and 11 in higher education.
