Carl Sorensen, Senior Associate Vice President for Human Resources at the University of Richmond, to Serve on CUPA-HR Board of Directors

Carl Sorensen, senior associate vice president for human resources at the University of Richmond, has been selected to serve a three-year term on the board of directors of the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR). He will join the board on July 1.

Sorensen has been a member of CUPA-HR for 25 years and has contributed to the association by serving on the Public Policy Committee and by acting as a guide for Emerging CUPA-HR Leaders, a program that identifies potential volunteer leaders from across the country and engages them in problem-solving work groups and leadership experiences.

Before his role at the University of Richmond, Sorensen served as director of human resources for Davidson College.
