Barbara Carroll, Associate Vice Chancellor for Human Resources at North Carolina State University, to Serve as Chair on CUPA-HR Board of Directors for 2015-16
Barbara Carroll, chief human resources officer at North Carolina State University, will serve for the upcoming fiscal year as chair of the board of directors of the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR). She began her term as chair-elect last summer and will move into the role of chair on July 1.
Carroll has been a member of CUPA-HR for 24 years. During this time, she has served on numerous committees and task forces and has contributed to several CUPA-HR publications. She is also active in the association’s advocacy efforts and currently chairs CUPA-HR’s public policy committee. Carroll has worked in higher education for 36 years and has spent 26 of those in human resources.
