Andy Brantley Invited to Serve on Washington Higher Education Secretariat Steering Committee

Andy Brantley, president and CEO of the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR), has been invited to serve a three-year term on the Washington Higher Education Secretariat Steering Committee.

The Washington Higher Education Secretariat was formed in 1962 to serve as a voluntary forum for chief executive officers of national higher education associations. Coordinated by the American Council on Education (ACE), the Secretariat provides a forum for association chief executives to consider strategic issues, review trends and challenges confronting higher education, develop responses to those challenges, and learn from colleagues and external experts. The steering committee, made up of nine member chief executives and the president of ACE, determines the content for the Secretariat meetings and outlines other work the Secretariat engages in to lead and support higher education.

“I am honored to serve in this role and am very excited for this opportunity to work with the American Council on Education and my Secretariat colleagues,” said Brantley. He will serve on the steering committee through March 2022.
