Sponsored by

This is a free, previously recorded webinar.

Historically, the promotion and tenure process was a laborious and exhausting task for faculty members, administrators and staff at the University of Florida. Facing the administrative burden of promotion and tenure for roughly 240 candidates each year, UF decided to develop its own automated work process, the Online Promotion and Tenure system (OPT).

In this webinar you will learn:

  • How the office of the provost, human resources and IT worked together to develop and implement the OPT system;
  • How the OPT system works;
  • How to conduct OPT training; and
  • Key takeaways from the development and implementation process.
