At Texas Christian University, HR transformation began as the result of significant growth in both the institution and its human resources function. But hiring its first chief human resources officer and transforming its transactional HR department into a strategic HR partner were only the beginning. Once the transformation was underway, they had to decide what came next in terms of strategies, structures and services.
