The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which went into effect in the European Union (E.U.) on May 25, 2018, could have significant implications for higher ed institutions in the U.S., including some HR functions. GDPR requires that covered organizations put significant processes and safeguards into place regarding the collection, use and processing of personal data of individuals located in the E.U.

This webinar will provide a brief overview of the GDPR requirements, review lessons learned in the six months since the regulation went into effect, and offer guidance on how to think about and approach GDPR compliance activities.
