Institutions of higher education already understand the importance of data, but the actual process of data collection and utilization can often prove challenging. This is especially true for data that relates to an institution’s diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) efforts. In this webinar, colleagues Anne Mitchell and Nay Petrucelli, both of Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, will share how IUPUI’s Office of Equal Opportunity (OEO) uses data to support a variety of DEI projects. Presenters will discuss common barriers to communicating data to stakeholders, and will examine how they’ve found success in using data to impact their campus.
