DataOnDemand (DOD) is an application that lets you conduct your own analyses of CUPA-HR survey data any time you want and as often as you want, using peer comparison groups that you create. During this hands-on lab, you’ll learn from CUPA-HR’s research team how to use DOD to its full capacity. In this lab, we’ll cover:
- Benchmarking diversity and equity using gender, ethnicity, and age demographic reports
- Analyzing salary trends
- How to provide prevailing wage data to satisfy DOL criteria
- Aggregating positions to obtain data for employees who wear multiple hats
- Obtaining specialized data for 1) professional positions by exempt status, 2) associate/assistant deans by faculty status, 3) department heads/chairs, and 4) adjunct faculty
Prerequisites: This lab is meant for those who have already taken the DOD Basics Lab and/or have extensive DOD experience. You should already know how to create custom comparison groups and run reports in DOD before registering for this lab. Participants must have access to a DataOnDemand subscription.
