Take Action:
Tell Congress Not to Gut Tuition Reduction and Educational Assistance Benefits

NOVEMBER 7, 2017 (WASHINGTON INSIDER ALERT) - As Congress considers major tax reform legislation, we urge leaders from every higher education institution to let members of Congress know how the legislation would impact their institution and their institution’s employees. To this end, we encourage you to reach out to your presidents, business officers and government affairs staff to assess the impact tax reform legislation could have on your institution and assess how best to respond.

Contact your Congress members and ask them not to eliminate Section 117(d) (qualified tuition reduction) or Section 127 (employer-provided educational assistance) in the House tax reform bill.

We continue to add our advocacy letters to the CUPA-HR website and the Tax Reform and Higher Education website, and we will provide regular updates in the days ahead.
