Please note that the 2012 CUPA-HR Western Region Conference at the Hyatt Regency Sacramento, March 18-20 has experienced high demand. CUPA-HR entered into a contractual agreement based on anticipated numbers forecasted from past region conferences and we have exceeded the contracted guestroom block protected.
CUPA-HR has added additional guestrooms at the Residence Inn Sacramento Downtown for a rate of $169/night plus tax. This hotel is a short, five minute walk from the conference space and is directly across from Cafeteria 15L, the location of our conference social event. Transportation to the Hotel
Shuttle service from the airport to the Hyatt Regency Sacramento is available via SuperShuttle. On-demand taxi service is provided at the Sacramento International Airport by the Sacramento Independent Taxi Owners Association (SITOA). All taxis are located in the ground transportation area adjacent to the baggage claim area. Fare between the airport and downtown Sacramento (and the conference hotel) is approximately $33. A 12 percent occupancy tax may be charged as well as a tourism fee of $1.65 per night. Cancellations must be made by 3 p.m. PST at least 24 hours prior to arrival.
