Sacramento International Airport (SMF) provides service via 12 commercial airlines. The airport is approximately 11 miles from the Hyatt Regency Sacramento — the conference hotel.

In the Expo, attendees can discuss products and services with our exhibitors. Exhibitors are at the conference to get to know attendees and better understand their needs so they can provide solutions to the toughest challenges in higher ed HR.

Recertification
The 2012 CUPA-HR Western Region Conference has be preapproved by HRCI for 10.5 credit hours. The program certification code will be distributed at the conference. Attendees must submit the code to HRCI and/or to the association that provides your certification. If you have any questions, contact your certifying organization.
Photography and Video
A professional photographer and videographer working for CUPA-HR may be present at various events and sessions. Photographs and video footage taken may be incorporated into the conference and used in promotional materials for CUPA-HR. No recording or photography is permitted during educational sessions without the prior written consent of the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources.

Sacramento is in the Pacific time zone. Average March temperatures are a high of 67 degrees and a low of 47 degrees.
Transportation
Shuttle service from the airport to the Hyatt Regency Sacramento is available via SuperShuttle. CUPA-HR has arranged a discounted rate of $11 each way when reservations are made online or by phone at 800-258-3826. Be sure to use the discount code G9L53 to receive this discount. You will need to print your confirmation page.
On-demand taxi service is provided at the Sacramento International Airport by the Sacramento Independent Taxi Owners Association (SITOA). All taxis are located in the ground transportation area adjacent to the baggage claim area. Fare between the airport and downtown Sacramento (and the conference hotel) is approximately $33. What to Wear
Conference dress is business casual. Monday’s Western Region Social at Cafeteria 15L — Sacramento’s newest comfort and eclectic urban restaurant — is casual. Pack a light sweater or jacket; hotel meeting rooms tend to be chilly. For the Healthy Campus Fun Run/Walk, workout or exercise wear and athletic shoes are recommended.
