D. Frank Vinik
Director of Risk Management; United Educators

D. Frank Vinik is Director of Risk Management at United Educators Insurance and an expert on employee background checks. He has published an article on the topic in the Chronicle of Higher Education and spoken on the topic to numerous conferences including the National Association of College and University Attorneys. Frank regularly consults with human resources professionals on issues of legal liability. Prior to joining United Educators, he practiced education and employment law at a large firm in North Carolina and also worked in university administration. Frank received his B.A. summa cum laude from the University of California at Berkeley and his law degree from the University of Virginia.
