Strategies for Succession Planning and Managing With a Multi-Generational Workforce
Two significant trends impacting public sector organizations today are (1) the baby boomers retiring, and with them the loss of substantial knowledge on how work is done within an organization, and (2) the dynamics of a workplace with individuals spanning from the Typewriter generation to the iPod generation. Full of energy, humor and thought-provoking ideas, Patrick Ibarra will address these issues and provide you with strategies to manage and plan for changes in your workplace.
Ibarra is a strategic thinker, skilled project manager and dynamic speaker who draws from more than 19 years of experience in business and government. He holds dual masters degrees: one in Human Resources and Organization Development from the University of San Francisco and one in Public Administration from Arizona State University. Ibarra is also on the adjunct faculty staff at several universities, teaching courses on management development, human resources and labor relations.
