Janet May, Chief Human Resources Officer at Houston Community College, to Serve as Chair of CUPA-HR Western Region Board of Directors for 2015-16

Janet May, chief human resources officer at Houston Community College, will serve as chair of the Western Region board of directors of the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR). She began her term as chair-elect last summer and will move into the role of chair on July 1.

May has served in several leadership roles within CUPA-HR over the last 16 years, including a term as president of the Rio Grande Chapter and as secretary and chair-elect of the Western Region.  At the national level, she has served on the membership committee and emerging issues committee and currently serves on the diversity, equity and inclusion committee.
