Donna Popovich, Executive Director of Human Resources at University of Tampa, to Serve as Chair-Elect on CUPA-HR Board of Directors

Donna Popovich, executive director of human resources at University of Tampa, has been tapped to serve as chair-elect on the board of directors of the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR) for the 2016-17 fiscal year. She will begin her term on July 1.

Popovich, a long-time CUPA-HR member, previously served on the association’s board of directors from 2010-13. She has served in several leadership roles at the chapter and region levels of the association, as well, including a term as chair of the Southern Region board of directors and founding member and president of the Florida Chapter. She’s also served on the association’s annual conference program committee and membership committee, as well as co-chair of the past leader engagement task force. In addition, Popovich has presented at countless CUPA-HR regional and national conferences.

Popovich has served as executive director of HR at University of Tampa for 23 years.
