Anticipation Building for National Conference
October 13, 2009

In just a few days, over 1,000 people – higher ed HR professionals, HR service providers, CUPA-HR national office staff and others – will come together in Las Vegas to learn from the experts, share ideas and knowledge, and network at the CUPA-HR National Conference and Expo 2009.

“In spite of the economic woes of the past year, we have exceeded our expectations for attendance at this year’s conference,” says CUPA-HR President and CEO Andy Brantley. “I think this speaks volumes about the commitment of our members and their eagerness to learn and grow professionally. I couldn’t be more excited about this year’s program!”

And for good reason! With three nationally-known keynote speakers (award-winning journalist Nadira Hira, pollster John Zogby and political forecaster Amy Walter), three sold-out preconference workshops, the first-ever CHRO Summit, more than 70 educational sessions and the largest-ever exhibit hall, this year’s conference promises to be one of the best yet.

We plan to share highlights of the conference via the CUPA-HR Higher Ed HR blog and Twitter. If you’re unable to attend this year’s conference, you can follow our tweets by visiting http://www.cupahr.org/conference2009/twitter.asp or by searching Twitter for our conference hashtag: #cupahr09. If you’re attending, you can also follow us – and feel free to tweet along!

For those of you who are making the trip to Las Vegas, we’ll see you in a few days. For those of you who are unable to attend, we hope to see you next year in New Orleans!
