Airport
Milwaukee county’s General Mitchell International Airport (MKE) provides service via nine commercial airlines. The airport is approximately 10 miles from the Pfister Hotel — site of the 2012 CUPA-HR Midwest Region Conference.
Expo
In the Expo, attendees can discuss products and services with our exhibitors. Exhibitors are at the conference to get to know attendees and better understand their needs so they can provide solutions to the toughest challenges in higher ed HR.

Recertification
The 2012 CUPA-HR Midwest Region Conference will be submitted to HRCI for credit hour preapproval. Pending HRCI approval, the program certification code will be distributed at the conference. Attendees must submit the code to HRCI and/or to the association that provides your certification. If you have any questions, contact your certifying organization.
Photography and Video
A professional photographer and videographer working for CUPA-HR may be present at various events and sessions. Photographs and video footage taken may be incorporated into the conference and used in promotional materials for CUPA-HR. No recording or photography is permitted during educational sessions without the prior written consent of the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources.

Milwaukee is in the Central time zone. Average May temperatures are a high of 65 degrees and a low of 47 degrees.
Transportation
CUPA-HR has arranged a special rate of $22 per person, round trip for transportation via GO Riteway Transportation Group. Reservations must be booked online at Go Riteway’s website to receive this discount.

What to Wear
Conference dress is business casual. Monday’s Midwest Region Social at the Harley-Davidson Museum® is casual. Pack a light sweater or jacket; hotel meeting rooms tend to be chilly. For the Healthy Campus Fun Run/Walk, workout or exercise wear and athletic shoes are recommended.

Join your peers for a tasty dinner at a local restaurant hosted by CUPA-HR’s corporate partners and exhibitors. No speaker, no agenda and no sales pitches here; simply enjoy casual conversation and great food while you get to know other conference attendees, sponsors and exhibitors. You will be able to choose from a variety of restaurants. And after long days of learning, we know you’ll be hungry!
