This course is a must-have for anyone who wants to map out a strategy for career success in higher ed HR. It provides an introduction to individual development plans (IDPs) and will guide you through the process of creating your plan, discussing your career with your leaders and implementing your strategy for success.

While performance management plans are intended to focus on organizational goals and priorities, an IDP will help you map out a plan that goes beyond performance management.

By taking the course, you’ll get:

  • Details about how IDPs differ from evaluation tools such as performance management plans;
  • Insight into how IDPs can lend value to your career development;
  • Step-by-step guidance for creating an IDP; and
  • Tips to help you overcome challenges in creating your plan.

“It was a great foundation to begin the development of an IDP (both for myself, and my team).”
