As of July 1, 2012, CUPA-HR will no longer be renting mailing lists or providing mailing lists as a benefit of corporate membership. CUPA-HR conference exhibitors will still be provided attendee mailing lists in conjunction with their exhibitor benefits. If you have questions about this change, e-mail corporatemembership@cupahr.org.

FAQs

Q: How many records are on the list?
A: We offer two different lists for rental: HR institutional key contacts OR HR institutional key and additional contacts. The key contact only list has approximately 3,800 records and the key plus additional contact list has over 14,000 records. Our lists contain member and nonmember records which are pulled directly from our database.

Q: What are the rates?
A: $.12/record for members; $.18/record for non-members

Q: In what format do I receive the mailing list?
A: Once the order process is complete, we will e-mail you the list in excel. We do not send hard copy labels.

Q: What is the difference between a key contact and an additional contact?
A: The key contact is the person designated by the institution as the point of contact for that institution. The key contact is also the person that determines who else from the institution may be part of their institution’s “roster.” Anyone on the roster in addition to the key contact is considered an additional contact.

Q: What type of institutions are represented on this list?
A: You can refer to our member demographic page to see the make-up of our member database. Please note, the demographics are of our members only, whereas our lists contain member and nonmember records. Therefore, our lists will reflect different demographics than those shown here.

Q: What type of titles are represented on this list?
A: Titles at higher education institutions are NOT standardized. Also, since the institution self-selects the representatives they want to have on their roster with CUPA-HR, we do not deem who should be a key rep or who is part of the institution’s roster. That being said, a majority of the time the key contact is the CHRO, VP or Director of Human Resources. Others on the roster include other professionals within the HR department (training, benefits, compensation, etc.) as well as faculty members and assistants.

Q: How long will it take to receive the list?
A: Orders are typically processed within 7-10 business days of request

Q: Is there any way to obtain e-mail addresses?
A: At the request of our members, we do not rent out their e-mail addresses.
