Diversity and Inclusion
Striving for Excellence Through Diversity and Inclusion
Although this year’s conference is not dedicated exclusively to issues of diversity and inclusion, there will be a strong underlying theme for much of our programming. The theme highlights the critical role of diversity and inclusion in driving organizational excellence. It also coincides with the development of CUPA-HR’s written position statement on diversity and inclusion.
CUPA-HR’s Position Statement and Action Plan
Monday, September 26 • 8:45 a.m.
CUPA-HR has drafted a statement that puts into words our long-held belief that inclusive workplace practices are critical to achieving excellence in our institutions. The statement, which has been vetted by the national board and many of our members across the country, will be shared with annual conference attendees during the General Session on Monday morning. We’ll also present the clear, concise action plan CUPA-HR has developed to support this effort.
