These Terms and Conditions Apply to All CUPA-HR 2010 Concurrent Session Presenters

The Annual Conference Program Committee is pleased you will be joining us to present at the CUPA-HR Annual Conference & Expo 2010 in New Orleans, Louisiana, September 20-22. Please read the following statements and complete the fields below to acknowledge your acceptance of CUPA-HR's speaker guidelines.

All Presenters:

  • I agree to present the session indicated below.
  • Sessions are open to all conference participants including members of the press, higher educational institutions and representatives of corporate organizations.
  • All speakers are required to register for the conference by August 17, 2010.
  • Handouts are due to schristensen@cupahr.org by August 6, 2010. Handouts will not be duplicated by the national office. If presenter chooses to provide his/her own handouts, please use the e‐mail above for information regarding number of handouts needed
  • Final Audiovisual requirements are due by August 6, 2010. Screens, LCD projectors, flip charts and markers are provided at no additional cost. If you are using an LCD projector to display PowerPoint materials, please bring a laptop loaded with appropriate software. Laptops and Internet connectivity will NOT be provided on a complimentary basis but rental arrangements can be made for you and the cost charged to you.

Corporate Presenters:

  • Corporate presenters are required to co‐present with an HR practitioner. HR practitioner co‐presenters must be named by March 31, 2010.
  • Corporate presenters cannot promote specific products or services. Product comments should be vendor‐neutral. Companies that breach this rule will not be invited to present at future conferences.
  • (Exhibiting Corporate Partners Only) Badges are non‐transferable. Exhibitor may only use the exhibitor badge form to register representatives employed by the exhibiting company. Exhibitors may not use the exhibitor badge form to register any higher ed institutional participant or presenter.
  • (Exhibiting Corporate Partners Only) Presenters with exhibiting companies should register using the badge form as part of the booth staff. For registration assistance, please contact exhibits.info@mra‐services.com or call MRA Services at (425) 636‐1640.
  • Non‐exhibiting corporate presenters should contact schristensen@cupahr.org for information on how to register for the conference.
