Conference dress is business casual. Pack a light sweater or jacket; hotel meeting rooms tend to be chilly. Workout/exercise wear and athletic shoes are recommended for the Healthy Campus Fun Run/Walk. The dress for Wednesday’s celebration is casual and can include some genuine New Orleans flare — masks are welcome. We invite attendees to join us for a parade-like walk — known as a “second-line” in New Orleans — to Generations Hall (several blocks from the hotel) for Wednesday’s celebration. Though the walk is short, you may wish to pack comfortable footwear. A shuttle will be available from 5:45-10:15 p.m. for transportation to and from the event.
CUPA-HR seeks to accommodate all people with disabilities at the national conference. Please indicate your needs on the registration form or call (877) 287-2474 to speak with a CUPA-HR staff member to discuss your needs.
The CUPA-HR Annual Conference and Expo 2010 has been pre-approved by the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) for 9.5 credit hours towards your PHR, SPHR and GPHR recertification. Your contact hours at CUPA-HR’s Annual Conference and Expo 2010 may be accepted for recertification by other organizations.
Be sure to keep appropriate materials, especially a copy of the final program, to document your attendance. A contact-hours sheet will be distributed on Wednesday, September 22 near the end of the conference. CUPA-HR does NOT keep a copy. If you have any questions, contact your certifying organization.
A professional photographer working for CUPA-HR will be present at various events and sessions. Photographs taken may be incorporated into the conference and used at a later date in promotional materials for CUPA-HR.
In accordance with CUPA-HR policy, smoking is prohibited at all CUPA-HR Annual Conference functions.

The use of the “Approved Provider” seal is not an endorsement by the HR Certification Institute of the quality of the program. It means that this program has met the HR Certification Institute’s criteria to be pre-approved for recertification credit.
