As a higher ed HR professional, keeping up with ever-changing laws and regulations, ensuring that your institution's policies are up to date and making time to engage in thoughtful conversation about the future of higher ed can make your head spin! That's where the CUPA-HR National Conference and Expo 2008 comes in — sharing vital information and inspiring new ideas to help you bring about positive change in your department, your institution and yourself!
This year's conference is set against the backdrop of St. Louis and the famous Gateway Arch, a collaborative feat itself. Our prominent keynote speakers, Donna Brazile, Keith Ferrazzi and Ted Childs, will have you thinking about collaboration in new ways. Plus, you'll hear from other experts and higher ed HR professionals who will share their ideas and knowledge with you in more than 70 targeted educational sessions. But it's more than just outstanding learning opportunities, this is the place to network and share personal experiences with colleagues who have the same challenges you do. So let's get together, have fun and learn why over 900 higher ed HR professionals consider this annual conference a must!

Giving You the Right Tools
Think you have the right ideas to lead you into the future of higher ed HR? Well great, because the exhibitors at Expo 2008 can give you the tools and resources you need to follow through with those great ideas and achieve your goals. It's also a great opportunity to network, exchange innovative ideas and catch up with colleagues and friends at one of our many networking events!
Feel Like a Kid Again!
This year's conference ends with a gala event at St. Louis' famous City Museum. Housed in the 600,000 square-foot former International Shoe Company, the museum is an eclectic mixture of children's playground, funhouse, surrealistic pavilion and architectural marvel made out of unique, found objects.
We'll enjoy dinner, dancing and performances by not one, but two musical acts.
St. Lou Is … All Within Reach
St. Louis, Missouri, is considered the Gateway to the West. It sits at the crossroads of the United States on the Mississippi River. The Hyatt Regency St. Louis Riverfront offers expansive views of the Gateway Arch, downtown and the Mighty Mississippi! While historic in nature, today's St. Louis is a cosmopolitan city with fabulous restaurants, active nightlife and major sports teams that make St. Louis one of the Midwest's most interesting and livable cities.
