CUPA-HR Leadership Opportunities
Volunteer leaders play a vital role at CUPA-HR, helping the association keep a finger on the pulse of the profession and offering their time, talent and leadership to the advancement of the profession and the association.
The National Board
The national board offers an excellent opportunity to collaborate with colleagues from across the country. The board is responsible for the association’s policies and strategic planning.

Regional Boards
Each of CUPA-HR’s four regions is run by a board affiliated with the national office. To learn about the volunteer opportunities available in your region, visit the region’s website.
Chapter Boards
One of the best ways to get familiar with CUPA-HR and colleagues in your area is to participate in the leadership of a local chapter. Contact the chair of your local chapter to find out about volunteer opportunities close to home.
Leader Support
The Association Leadership Program (ALP)
The ALP is an annual gathering of CUPA-HR’s volunteer leaders. This is where chapters, regions and the national office come together to share ideas, tackle common challenges and plan for the coming year.
Leader Toolkits
Our chapter and region leaders have access to templates and sample documents to assist them in their volunteer efforts.
Leader Listservs
Two listservs in the Knowledge Center facilitate discussion among chapter leaders and among region leaders.
